Thank you for your patience during the maintenance, which has now been completed! We have just released the latest version of Restaurant City!

On the right hand side of your restaurant (when inside your restaurant), you will see some new gardens. The first one is unlocked at level 16. Once you have a garden unlocked you will be able to grow some of your own ingredients!

Plus, a few new ingredients have been introduced, these include Wasabi, Coriander, Ginger and Vanilla!

Along with the new ingredients, we have some brand new dishes! So why not try making some Bak Kut Teh, Three-Cup Chicken, Vanilla Panna Cotta, Ginger Beer Float or Vanilla Hot Chocolate today!

And finally, five new levels have been introduced, so start cooking to earn as many Gourmet Points as possible to ensure you can utilise the biggest garden!

Continent of the Ninth: Coming Soon!

Hangame, a famous game portal in South Korea, has signed a licensing agreement with NHN GAMES to publish NHN Games' in house developed MMORPG C9 (Continent of the Ninth). On Oct. 24th, Hangame released some content of the game through C9's official site.

Since 2006, NHN GAMES has spent nearly 3 years in the development of this 3D MMORPG title. C9 features stunning graphics, outstanding battle system and coherent storyline. C9 uses NHN Games' in-house developed engine and employs top client programmers to produce magnificent battle scenes and vivid game environment. Players will take adventures in a world full of danger and challenges.

A 3D action MMMORPG that is one of the most anticipated Korean games for 2009. Features stunning graphics and a genuinely action-based battle system, which is good news for the future of Korean MMOs (no more point-and-click battle systems, please).The closed beta test will last until March 16th, 2009, the game is currently in Korean language, when the English version of game is updated, we will pronounce it on the website.

Restaurant City: Facebook

Facebook.com, a social network, has cool features that lets its users play all they want in their Applications Category. They are mostly flash player based games, others click click games. (lol). But mostly, all of them are fun to play with. One of the most popular games now is Restaurant City(made by Playfish). In this game you get to, create your own restaurant, pick accesories, level up dishes of your choice, and hire your friends to work for you. Make them your slaves, nobody cares. LOL.

Now, I dont have much time to play Restaurant City anymore. And now that I reached its peak level 27, i think i ought to help people out for their restos! :D

Tips for faster Level Ups:

Level up your dishes. Its faster to gain GP(Gourmet Points) if, at least, one of your Starter, Main, Dessert and Drinks is at level 10. That way, you ensure that anydish that your customers order will give you an experience of 2.8 GP.
Dont mind what your Resto look. I suggest cutomizing your restaurants at level 15 or higher. Because early in the game, you may need that free money (2,000 coins) to buy food for your employees, or to add chairs and tables when you level up.
Search the forums for layouts. A lot of people believes(myself included) that island layouts are by far, the best layouts for faster levelling. Again, dont mind how your resto looks yet, but focus on the efficiency of your table order and effectivity of your waiters and cooks.
Keep your resto open. Some people have the wrong assumption that they gain GP when their restaurants arent open. Just leave your restaurants open, meaning, do not leave your restos logged out. You must see your employees work, work and work. That way, you gain GP.

Browser Game: SEYKEN

Are you sick of downloading hours and hours to play the latest MMORPG? Well.. Here's the answer to your gaming needs; a browser game! A browser game is typically a game without downloads. You wont need to wait for 5 hours or search torrents for a faster way to play.

According to ever-reliable Wiki, :

"A browser game is a video game that is played on a web browser. It is distinct from other video and computer games in that it typically doesn't require any client-side software to be installed, apart from the web browser. There are games that rely solely on client-side technologies such as JavaScript or common plugins such as Java or Flash Player, whereas some employ server-side scripting. The latter case consists typically of (massively) multiplayer games or simple two-player board games where the user plays "the (server) computer" as an opponent such as early online versions of Reversi, whereas the client-side games are typically single-player games."

I have tried a lot of games online. May it be Ragnarok, Cabal, Gunbound, Grand Chase.. And a lot other more.. But when you got sick and tired of downloading, playing, and then vomiting. (lol) you try to crave for a new game. After an hour of researching and Youtube-ing games, I discovered a new browser game to play... SEYKEN!!

SEYKEN is like playing in a Gameboy. Yep you read it right. A gameboy! It is a classical game (no downloads peeps), but you can download the client(just 12mb) if you want to optimize your gaming experience. I, myself downloaded the client to make my game window in full screen mode. The game isnt advertised in full force yet but the community is great though. And very helpful too. If you dont know what to do, just shout in the chat window and a lot of people will surely help you.
